2007 - Clausen Helicopter MOH Reunion in at Charlotte Air Museum - The Marine Corps' most famous combat helicopter was retired in a ceremony that reunited squadron HMM-263 and the rescued in Charlotte September 2007. EG-16, nicknamed "Blood Sweat & Tears", suffered structural damage during a hard landing in Iraq and had to be retired.

This helicopter rescued Marines trapped in a Vietnam mind field January 31, 1970. Crewchief Private Mike Clausen left the chopper several times and brought the dead, wounded and trapped marines to the safety of this CH46 aircraft. (Clausen died in 2004).
